Hold on, are we just ignoring all the segfaulting programs there that are being started from xinitrc? (the above requests will still be useful either way - but I'd like to see an attempt to start without the core-dumping-programs)

They're all from before the OP started the thread and had that nonsense xinitrc (many things in this thread don't add up, btw) and I *suspect* are because they where launched agaisnt the terminating/gone X11 server, but we should indeed better look at one, https://wiki.archlinux.org/title/Core_d … _core_dump
