I think these two problems which would both happen in the same boot are not quite same, and this problem still exist after limiting cstate.

By the way, would anyone have better idea about blocking tpm? I'm not sure about whether `module_blacklist=tpm` would work as I have mentioned above.

lsmod|grep tpm

But I'm fairly sure that the module won't load w/ that parameter.

You cacould also disable secureboot in the firmware, but that's rather unrelated to any kind of stutter in the OS.

Solved. It seems to be no more stutter after update.
