Hi,
I made a VM with windows 98 and everything worked great until i destroyed it then recreate it meanwhile i was written a process for later. Since i can't use win 32 app on cd rom without getting "is not a win32 valid application" . i check a lot of thing on the guest.
With the same vm i just tried the same vm on a windows host to isolating totally the problem with an old qemu version 6.XX. And the same vm work great,
I would to know if recently there was an important modification on the packages, i can't remember if i was with a 8.0.3 version, 8 it sure but i'm not sure about the sub number....
It's only with cdroms... i tried by removing all in safe mode, i used generic drivers, i tried by using dma "just in case" ...
I work a lot with rhel, i had some machines with debian and derived distributions but i don't know at all Archlinux... I will try "just in case " to see if i can download an old package but it can help me a lot to know if there was some modification recently. I installed archlinux the last month, i probably made an update but i'm not sure because it was just a lab version and i need to test a lot of things before to recreate it.
Thx a lot.
