Second Display not working with USB-C hub

Hello everyone,
I have a laptop that doesn't have any display outputs, only a USB-C port. So, to have a second monitor, I bought a USB-C hub. It worked for months, but yesterday the HDMI port completely stopped working. However, it's not the hub's fault, as I double-checked by using another hub of the same brand and model, and that one doesn't work either. On the other hand, my hub works on a different PC (unfortunately, that second PC is windowshit).
I checked with journalctl and found out that when I connect the HDMI to the hub, I get the following errors:

Aug 28 11:30:55 archlinux gnome-shell[1151]: Failed to use stored monitor configuration: Invalid mode 1920x1080 (59,963) for monitor 'SHP 0x1420'
Aug 28 11:30:55 archlinux gnome-shell[1151]: meta_monitor_manager_get_logical_monitor_from_number: assertion '(unsigned int) number < g_list_length (manager->logical_monitors)' failed[
Aug 28 11:30:55 archlinux gnome-shell[1151]: meta_workspace_get_work_area_for_monitor: assertion 'logical_monitor != NULL' failed

and the second monitor says No signal detected!.

Does anyone have an idea how I could fix it?

Thanks in advance and sorry for my bad English

PS: I tried the 10th point of https://wiki.archlinux.org/title/GNOME/Troubleshooting, but it fix only the third message temporarily

Re: Second Display not working with USB-C hub

Did you update recently?
most interesting is a kernel update.

Why I run Arch? To "BTW I run Arch" the guy one grade younger.
And to let my siblings and cousins laugh at Arsch Linux...

Yes, I got a massive update, but next i tried to downgrade gnome-shell to the previous version, and nothing change.

Re: Second Display not working with USB-C hub

downgrade the kernel (or linux-lts), it's most likely some driver or so.
btw you can see the upgraded packages (and their versions) in /var/log/pacman.log

else try a different DE/WM and Xorg/Wayland

and maybe also a full journal.
