[SOLVED] I feel like a fool for this problem!

Whenever I open QTfm the default/initial directory is stuck on a directory other than /home/adam
it doesn't save the directory i change it to
i looked for variables using ENV etc. etc.
it won't stay
i fixed it in konsole by changing the profile but with QtFM i can't find any option for it.
im running Fluxbox.
Can anyone help?

Mark as solved.
In my TTY i was in a directory other than /home/adam
I had to log out of it and log back in so it was in /home/adam
then I launched fluxbox, then it loaded the directories correctly.
