Hello
I used to have a nvidia 1060ti and overclocked my screen from 60Hz to 75Hz using a custom EDID, which worked fine.
Recently picked an AMD 6700XT and wanted to overclock my screen again.
I have created a new mode using xrandr, but when I apply it, my whole screen is flickering.
So my question is, you guessed it, how do I avoid this flickering ?
Here's all the commands I have done
cvt 1920 1080 75.05
xrandr --newmode "1920x1080_75.05" 221.00 1920 2064 2264 2608 1080 1083 1088 1130 -hsync +vsync
xrandr --addmode HDMI-1 1920x1080_75.05
xrandr --output HDMI-1 --mode 1920x1080_75.05Thanks for any help !
Edit :
Lowered the refresh rate and it now works. I don't know if the issue is from the custom EDID and xrandr not doing the same thing to my refresh rate, or my new GPU.
Anyway, it now works with a bit less refresh rate that I'd like but it's ok
