I noticed over last weekend after updating my system that my system started freezing rarely, at random. I've found out how to replicate the issue reliably -- if I try to launch Deep Rock Galactic from Steam, Steam tries to compile Vulkan shaders and my entire system freezes about halfway through the compilation process.
During the freeze:
The display is frozen.
My system stops playing audio.
I cannot SSH into my machine even though I can normally when it isn't frozen.
Running `journalctl -f` while ssh'd in before the freeze doesn't show any new information when the freeze happens.
I'm not able to do a clean shutdown by pressing the power button once.
I have the problem on both linux 6.4.12.arch1-1, linux-lts 6.1.48-1, and linux-lts 6.1.50-1. I'm at a loss for how to diagnose the problem further. Any help with this would be really appreciated. I'm suspicious that it's either a kernel bug or a driver issue but I tried looking for similar issues in the respective repositories and I couldn't find anything that seemed relevant.
The freeze happened to me again at random today, while I was streaming using OBS and using Godot 4, and I've recorded the corresponding logs in this gist.

I met the same problem recently with proton-experimental while running KARDS. I used proton 8.0 instead, the problem was solved.
