Re: [SOLVED] yay install issue

Looks like network issue, with so many connection refused errors.

Re: [SOLVED] yay install issue

It can't be my network. I am on the internet.
Other updates work fine?
What do you suggest I try?

I reported this to yay on github.

Re: [SOLVED] yay install issue

Does building in a clean chroot work ?

Disliking systemd intensely, but not satisfied with alternatives so focusing on taming systemd.

(A works at time B)  && (time C > time B ) ≠  (A works at time C)

Re: [SOLVED] yay install issue

I haven't done arch-chroot allot.
If I arch-chroot it says it won't run makepkg in a root login.

Ok i ran the command as follows .
I don't know what all this means except there must be something else I need to do because I type yay and it says command not found.

Re: [SOLVED] yay install issue

That *built* tha package but didn't install it.

On the upside: now that you learned how to build packages, you actually no longer need some pacman wrapper to get into your way big_smile
