[closed] Where is APCUPSD ISCONFIGURED=no

I am working on getting APCUPSD working with two UPS's. One UPS for the CPU case and the other for the monitor screens. The only guide I could find that is close to what I am trying to do is this Debian post (https://wiki.debian.org/apcupsd#Configu … Devices.29). I was doing fine working my way through the instructions until I got to the part to change the /etc/default/apcupsd ISCONFIGURED from "no" to "yes". This file does not exist in ArchLinux. I did find this AL forum post (https://bbs.archlinux.org/viewtopic.php?id=262965) that suggests creating the file corrected the OP issue. Having said this without adding it manually where is the file/directory that contains ISCONFIGURED software switch? How is this handled on systemd in ArchLinux? Or is it that simple, just create the file at the proper directory location ( /etc/default/apcupsd ) and give it the contents "ISCONFIGURED=yes"? (Sorry if I got wordy.) Any help would be appreciated. Thank you.

Re: [closed] Where is APCUPSD ISCONFIGURED=no

I was looking to monitor two UPS's connect to my desktop. All in an effort to extend my battery runtime by spreading the electrical load across both UPS's. I now have discovered why the community support for this unique arrangement (dual UPS's) is so weak. I have moved to NUT and am no enjoying dual UPS protection on my desktop. The configuration was so simple. Don't get me wrong, APCUPSD is an excellent piece of open source software that works beautifully for any standalone single UPS protection of a desktop. In my case the dual UPS configuration pushed me to NUT.
