sudo not recognizing password

Hello fellow arch users,

I have this very annoying issue with the sudo command - it doesn't recognize my password as if it's incorrect. I typed the password letter by letter several times and it doesn't work and i know i typed it in correctly, but after like 5-10 minutes it just works. Also, it happens at random times (it works now and the next day it stops working, and then it works again). This issue also persists after rebooting my system.

Help will be greatly appreciated!

You're probably running into https://wiki.archlinux.org/title/Securi … n_attempts
Most likely because some frequent script non-interactively calls sudo and fails to provide a password.
