Amd Pstate not scaling on Steam Launch

Hi.
I have a Razer Blade 14 with a AMD 9 6900HX and a NVIDIA RTX 3070 Ti.
I have a fresh install of Arch running on it and amd_pstate=guided set in the Kernel parameters as confirmed by

$ cat /sys/devices/system/cpu/cpu0/cpufreq/scaling_driver
amd-pstate

The problem I have is that as soon as I launch steam my cpu temps skyrocket to around 99 Degrees Celsius.
I couldn't really find any starting point on how to fix this because the wiki only says "When set to guided pstate manages the CPU frequency based on the workload"
I can imagine that it even does this because the steam workload of course isn't that big. Where could these temps come from then?
