Failed to open intel-ucode.img

After using Arch for a while I felt like I had too much bloat installed and wanted to slim down. After following this from the wiki I ended up deleting everything but: base linux linux-firmware xorg plasma yay firefox clion neofetch. After rebooting I ended up getting this message "Failed to open file: intel-ucode.img". I assume I screwed up by uninstalling intel-ucode and that the way out is to boot from USB, but if there alternatives or other things I messed up please do tell.

Re: Failed to open intel-ucode.img

if you're using a bootloader that can edit the booting cmdline you can remove the intel-ucode initramfs getting loaded and reinstall it from the  system itself.

Whether you broke anything else important to you depends on what you actually used to use and consider relevant, no one but you can answer that.
