Is it possible to install a game through Lutris in a different partiti

I would like to install a game through Lutris, but on my data partition, and I keep getting errors saying that I have no permissions to do so or that the partition doesn't belong to me, you know, the classical "owned only by root bug". Normally, I can edit files on this partition just fine, I changed fstab to automount it and have no problems so far aside from this one with Lutris. I would very much like to know if there's a way to make Lutris install the game on my data partition. Until now, I tried to change de permissions of the partition with:

sudo chmod ugo+rwx /mnt/data_ext

But Lutris is still giving the root bugs. Any ideas on how to solve this? Or is it impossible for Lutris to install anything on other partitions? Thanks in advance!

I changed fstab to automount it
