Wireless remote "voice" button not recognized

I got a WECHIP W3 remote (uses a 2.4G dongle), on my laptop with manjaro the voice button is recognized, however on my main PC running arch it is not for some divine reason.

PC kernel: 6.5.5-arch1-1
Laptop kernel: 6.1.53-1-MANJARO

the laptop reports keypress keycode 582
