[SOLVED] Report a bug that's been fixed upstream but not in the pkg?

I'm running into a bug where no audio is playing in certain circumstances. I've pinned this down to an issue with pipewire, and by downgrading the various pipewire components to 1:0.3.80-1, the issue no longer occurs.

I've looked online for more information about the bug, and I've found that it looks like the devs have fixed the issue: https://gitlab.freedesktop.org/pipewire … te_2118338

I would like to report that a fix for this issue has been made, so that the fix can be included in the package and pushed out to users. However, when trying to research where to do this, it feels like I'm being told conflicting information.

On https://archlinux.org/packages/extra/x86_64/pipewire/, if I click on the "(?)" next to "Flag Package Out-of-Date", there's a note at the bottom which says:
> Note: Please do not use this facility if the package is broken! Use the bugtracker instead.

However, on https://wiki.archlinux.org/title/Bug_re … eing_a_bug, I see:
> Reasons for not being a bug
> ...
> A bug already fixed upstream but not in Arch because the package is not up-to-date.

Okay, so... where should I file this?

Report it to the Arch bug tracker with a link to the upstream bug report/fix.
