mc_scheduler vs smp_scheduler in cpupower

I'm setting up cpupower on an AMD Ryzen machine and cannot find any documentation on the settings mc_scheduler and smp_scheduler do in /etc/default/cpupower. The file says to see the cpupower-set man file, but this has no mention of them, nor does the arch wiki.

Any insight onto what these do, and what arguments they take? Why would one choose one over the other, or can they both be toggled on?

Thanks!

Re: mc_scheduler vs smp_scheduler in cpupower

They do not do anything anymore [1] /etc/default/cpupower [2] has not been updated for their removal.
