I have about 5-6 activities constantly active on my laptop (Lenovo Legion 5 15ACH6) with each having its own latte-dock configuration and librewolf windows. About a week from this post, all of my windows and docks would appear on my main activity every reboot. At least a few days after updating the system to the new plasma (or whatever the new update was for), the system began to exhibit the issues mentioned earlier. Wallpapers and layouts were still working until a few more days later, which is when my activity manager would appear blank but the activities still existed in the system with default settings (shortcuts worked and they appeared in my system settings).
I have tried a couple of steps and multiple search terms to see if maybe a new update caused the issue or something in my system corrupted.
- updated my system multiple time (at least 3-5 days an update appeared). I wasn't sure if something was wrong with the initial update or if my laptop wasn't updating at all. They stopped appearing 10/08/2023, though I could be off by a day.
- deleted .cache through terminal (Lost all my librewolf windows and tabs doing so and almost snapped my laptop right there).
- renamed and deleted plasma-org.kde.plasma.desktop-appletsrc, then recreated the activities. It appears to only work when 2 activities exist.
- copied and deleted .config to reset all configurations.
Please let me know what log file or info to paste here to better help with the troubleshooting.

I checked around the wiki again and noticed it mentioned removing ~/.config/Trolltech.conf and rebuilding the cache with kbuildsycoca5 --noincremental to resolve upgrade issues. I have performed the recommendation and it only temporarily solves my issue; it returns the moment I sign out and in my system or reboot (happens with a new user as well).
