Can't disable steam play in steam settings
When I go to Steam -> Settings -> Compatibility the 'Enable Steam Play for supported titles' is enabled and clicking the switch has no effect. I want to disable it because it forces to run native linux games with proton. Does anyone know how to disable that option?

It shouldn't force native games to use proton. Never heard that and it definitely doesn't do so here. Do you have a concrete example?

Yeah. When I launch CS:GO (which is a native linux game) I get a wine error. That's strange because yesterday everything was fine.

In the library tab on your game you want to switch to native runtime, go to the gear icon to the right and select properties or right click the game from the list and select properties. Then go to the compatibility tab and tick the box "Force the use of a specific Steam Play compatibility tool" there should now be a drop down menu, where at the bottom you should find some variety of "Steam Linux Runtime" (in my case for CS2 it's "Steam Linux Runtime 1.0 (scout)").
This should allow you to run it natively.
