A good tilling manager for KDE

Looked around, and people are recommending krohnkite as a tilling manager. Is this still the best option nowadays?

I'd prefer something distro agnostic, that works on wayland, has good performance, easy to configure things like editing the outter gaps individually etc.

Appreciate any tips.
