Boot Splash Installation for KDE Plasma

Hi all,

This is my first official question here in the forum so I'll cut to the chase. I'm using Endeavor OS KDE Plasma on an ASUS X550ZA laptop. I've been trying to replace the cryptic boot screen with no luck. Have tried both the fbsplash and plymouth-git packages. fbsplash was having such a hard time installing I had to quit it, and plymouth-git simply didn't work, even though I have no idea how to configure it so perhaps that is why.

Any helpful suggestions?
