I'm using AIGLX (Xorg 7.1.1) and Beryl (0.1.3) on my i945GM graphics. Everything worked fine until last update.
After that, I've lost some Beryl settings (mostly keystrokes) and had several other problems (no windows decoration, etc.).
I managed to fix most of them, but the last and most annoying is that when I drag window's title in order to move the window, the window gets "sticked" to cursor and won't release (e.g. won't stop moving) on releasing mouse button as expected. Instead it is moving along with cursor until I click the mouse button again. It's really annoying :-(
Been through all possible settings in Beryl settings manager and emerald settings, but nothing worked so far. Google knows nothing. Does anyone of you? :-)

What happened to Arch's KISS? systemd sure is stupid but I must have missed the simple part ...
... and who is general Failure and why is he reading my harddisk?

Nope, that doesn't happen here. Try backing up your beryl/emerald settings and then starting clean and see if you can still reproduce it.

I also lost most of my keystrokes. As for your other issue, that seems fine here.

Good point, got it working. Looks like bug in Beryl.
When "Beryl Settings -> Move Window -> Mouse -> Initiate window move" is not enabled or the mouse button is not 0, then the error appears as described. When Initiate is enabled and button is 0, dragging works as it should, no matter which keboard modifiers are selected..
I'll probably post a bug report to Beryl project when I'm sure it's not caused by Arch package.
I really appreciate work of packagers though. Those guys do an excellent job!
