Hi all,
I recently bought a Lenovo Ideapad Pro 5 14APH8, which comes with a AMD Ryzen 7 7840HS with Radeon 780M Graphics.
For some reason, it seems as if Arch does not recognise the Radeon 780M. I read that AMD, Linux and iGPUs sometimes do not mix well when combined.
Output of my lcpu: http://0x0.st/HJOz.txt
Output of lspci: http://ix.io/4JBv
Output of SwitcherooControl to confirm the absence of the GPU: http://0x0.st/HJOr.txt
To confirm that I do in fact have the 780M, here is an image of dxdiag on Windows (I'm dual booting) showing the presence of the 780M https://gcdnb.pbrd.co/images/peHR30d3XuEp.png
I followed the instructions for installing the amdgpu driver via the arch linux wiki page https://wiki.archlinux.org/title/AMDGPU#Installation, and also installed the ati drivers as the kernel seemed to be complaining about it missing for whatever reason.
Is this just a driver issue and should wait for support or am I not configuring something properly?

you only have one gpu and its obviously working.
63:00.0 VGA compatible controller: Advanced Micro Devices, Inc. [AMD/ATI] Phoenix1 (rev c7)
phoenix is the codename for that cpu and/or 780m graphics: https://www.amd.com/en/product/13041

Ah, ok, I was under the impression I had integrated graphics and a discrete GPU, but even by my title, I indicate iGPU. Silly me! Thanks
