When I try to start Blender I got a freeze:
$ blender
Read prefs: "/home/paz/.config/blender/3.6/config/userpref.blend"
Failed to open dir (No such file or directory): /run/user/1000/gvfs/
Terminated I don't have any gvfs folder in /run/user/1000/. Installing gvfs removes the "Failed..." line, but I still get the freeze.
The userpref.blend file has no readable textual content. If you open it directly with Blender it leads to the usual freeze. By deleting the file, it is recreated at the next startup. But I still get the freeze.
My system is all AMD: Ryzen 5900X; GPU Radeon RX 5700XT; Motherboard X570 and 32GB RAM; Mesa + opencl-amd (and Hip).

opencl-amd broke somewhen in the last update, it's marked out of date.
I use rocm-hip-runtime instead, see https://wiki.archlinux.org/title/GPGPU#ROCm for more.

Why I run Arch? To "BTW I run Arch" the guy one grade younger.
And to let my siblings and cousins laugh at Arsch Linux...

Going back to ROCM, Blender works fine; thank you.
The funny thing is that I had gone back to opencl-amd because ROCm was giving me stability problems!
