Signal doesn't show unread messages count as a badge in KDE taskbar

Hello.

Showing an amount of unread messages in KDE’s task bar (not tray icon, but task bar icon!) as a badge over the Signal app icon doesn’t work for me.

I use the latest Signal on the latest KDE on Arch with X11 session.

How do I make it work? Is it even supported? Please share your experience if you use Signal even on other DEs.

Also please note I'm talking specifically about unread messages count as a badge in the taskbar, not in the system tray! Those are different things!
