[SOLVED] blackscreen after suspend on cinnamon
Hello newbie here, I recently just installed cinnamon alongside with gnome 45, I also did manage to disable GDM because I like lightdm more, I did also install light-locker that totally helped me to manage to lock and have better response (did follow instruction here :https://www.perfacilis.com/blog/systeembeheer/linux/lock-screen-after-switching-from-gdm-to-lightdm.html). However when I'm using cinnamon, it seems like I can't use lightdm to work properly anymore because I think cinnamon-screensaver which is a lock screen for cinnamon is on the way I guess, but when I click suspend manually, the lightdm shows instead of cinnamon-screensaver but when closing lid, that's where the problem it will be, but If I use gnome on the current session, there is just no issue, I'm not also sure if killing cinnamon-screensaver will solve it. So how can I manage to use lightdm to work properly on cinnamon?

update: a little workaround is to put it on suspend before closing the lid can do the trick but still I love to have a good fix.
