Icons having trouble working.

Whenever I either load custom tint2 themes or whenever i use rofi with icons, the icons either don't show or show a placeholder icon. Could someone help me fix this? Thanks

(here's the error logs of whenever i load a custom tint2 theme to edit)

There're 4 icons failing multiple times:

tint2: Could not find icon '', using default.
tint2: Could not find icon 'data/freecol.png', using default.
tint2: Could not find icon 'io.github.kaii_lb.Overskride', using default.
tint2: Could not find icon 'rofi', using default.

Some are obviously empty, so the .desktop file(s) apparently simply don't set an icon
data/freecol.png is provided from /usr/share/java/freecol/data/freecol.png (only)
There're no icons for rofi and io.github.kaii_lb.Overskride in that theme - rofi should™ be resolved from /usr/share/icons/hicolor/apps/rofi.svg, no idea what io.github.kaii_lb.Overskride is

How widespread is this problem actually? Do all icons fail or just a couple of them?
