Hi All,
I hope you are doing well.
I have this problem on my old system but on the new hardware. I moved from an ASUS laptop, Intel CPU with integrated GeForce to PC ASUS motherboard, AMD CPU with Radeon GPU (Sapphire Vapor-X AMD Radeon R9 270X 2GB GDDR5), 4 monitors plugged in (3x HD, 1x 2k). The CPU is 16 cores and I have 128GB of RAM. All necessary packages have been reconfigured for the new hardware according to the Arch Wiki.
All works pretty well but at times the mouse is lagging and this is happening not at any load. I comes and goes. The cursor lag/freeze lasts for about 5-15 seconds.
It feels like something is throttling the performance or something when the system is coming back from idle.
I can experience this but again not every time when coming back from idle, I can hear the CPU fan increasing its speed.
I checked the Xorg log but I don't see any errors (EE).
Has anybody come across such problem?
Please advise
Thank you

EndSectionI didn't have this problem on the other system but it was the same Bluetooth mouse.
This may look silly and the issue may be unrelated to the actual system but this is a Bluetooth mouse and the dongle was plugged to a USB port just next to the rear fan.
I think the air movement disturbs the wifi signal. I have moved the dongle from the back to top of the unit to see if there is any improvement. So far the issue hasn't come back yet.
