Hi there!
Read the rules and hope im not doing help vampire or bikehedding. I just want to make sure (broke many linux) and want to ask/learn from Arch forum. And realize some weird stuff in installition.
Also theese questions might add to FAQ materials for developing the forum.
1-) In the installation i added my user to wheel, but now i cant see; i added again with using su to change the root. Is it safe and why i had to add it again ?
2-) In the installation i; exit, rebooted a few times, is it might effect my usb eufi install iso and might be broken stuff ? (In the last setup i realize in ip link i saw third device not sure but it waslisted on the others times - sorry for being cozy i was really sleepy at the setup session)
3-) I installed from Installition Guide and step by step. And nothing else. I went thorough the google; and learnt when you all done, exit from root, AND do some configuration, install the packages than unmount it. So it might broke my installation ?
4-) Im not sure i successfully generated a key and configured it, how can i check ?
5-) I did a install with for EUFI and non-EUFI (i have swap and boot) partitions. Not using dual boot. Should i go for EUFI or non EUFI. And how can get rid of other option files ? Ex. if im using EUFI i need to delete non EUFI and vice versa
6-) Is there any option for check my setup/install integrity to make sure everyting is alright ? Or do you suggest me to reinstall ?
7-) Im using Nvidia and i saw the warning of wrong boot loader will be a problem and also shouldn't use xfce. But i install it anyway. I thought i will change to something else. Will any occursed might be happened ? Even in first shutdown after setup i saw one [FAILED]
Please dont be made at me, broke many OS for many times and just want to make sure and learn. Really loved the Arch and the Forum ![]()
Thank you.

That is a lot of stuff. May I ask? Is English a second language? It's not a problem, but it will allow us to focus our responses.
1. Not sure what "I can't see" means. I assume you are wanting to use sudo . You have to log out and log back in to add yourself to a group. The command groups will report all the groups to which you user belongs. For memebers of wheel to use sudo, you still must change the sudo configuration to permit this.
2,3: Not following. Please tell us more.
4. key for what?
5. I generally recommend uEFI.
6. I generally do not recommend a reinstall.
7. Can't offer any help with regard to Nvidia.
Please re-read your post with your reader in mind and pretend you are us, We cannot see your system, you have to tell us more about your system, what you are trying to do, what you want to accomplish, and what you have tried.

Please accept my deeply apologises. Lets say nowadays its my main language at least becoming. Im doing my best, if you know a good translator please share it with me.
Its also not about language like you said "it seems a lot" but its really simple stuff and a few details. But when it comes to typing i was always chatty
And its hard to explain with words of thoose details.
1. I mean i added my user to sudoers while in installation, after then finished up and boot in to my brand new OS. Now with command i had to add it again and changed the sudo configuration file. I check it out from internet and did it after install. Hope did nothing wrong. I thought it has to be done in the installation.
2. I tried to install many times with same bootable USB. Cookies/session might be saved ?
3. I unmounted the /mnt in the installation before all set. Like the link lead to me. I saw in the internet we need to configure some stuff before it. That why i was not able see my SSD ![]()
So im thinking to make another clean install
4. Verifying signature
5. I decided no need swap and is it necessary to use uEFI. Cant i just install with / root and / home partitions ?
6. I mean delete the all of it and install again from very beginning.
7. May i ask why with all respect ?
Yes, i re-read it and even now im thinking "what the hell did i wrote ?
" What kind of system information should i share ? Im trying to build a main and one Arch with seperated /home. Just want to make sure its done without problem nor missing some stuff. About my try: i followed the instruction from a website, may i share the link ?
I feel its not clear install or some video problems i have. Because the youtube videos are freezing and the loading icon is kinda tearing.

You most likely edited a file on the iso instead of the installed system.

Solved
If all your problems are solved, please always remember to mark resolved threads by editing your initial posts subject - so others will know that there's no task left, but maybe a solution to find.
Thanks.
Otherwise please open individual threads about the remaining problems.

If its okay to create small topics for simpe questions i want to go for it or i can take notes and will create a topic with them. It wouldnt be last long like this promise. Yes, solved. Im editing the title now.

I somewhat struggle to parse the above, really try deepl.com
However, choosing one topic per thread isn't only ok, it's the expected approach: https://wiki.archlinux.org/title/Genera … ow_to_post
