I'm checking NTFS from time to time.
Yesterday I realized that after connecting NTFS formatted pendrive ntfs3 module was loaded.
Is this a Linux default now, or is this a Dolphin in KDE Plasma thing?
Can I safely remove ntfs-3g now?

I'm aware that it was supported long time ago. But I didn't change anything in my system, and I'm pretty sure that ntfs3 wasn't the default no so long time ago. In the box there is an information about kernel 5.5 and newer. I admit that i don't remember exact kernel version when I tested this but it wasn't older than 5.5 for sure. It worked but not out of the box.

It's the default (or rather actively preferred) of udisks and that changed ~a month ago, and that's what all GUI integrations are using for their mount helpers
