[SOLVED] Issue Sennheiser EPOS GSX 1000 2nd Edition

Hi,
A bit of a noob here.
I have an issue with a USB DAC, the Sennheiser GSX 1000 2nd Edition.
The device has 2 output, a virtual surround 7.1, and a mono. It has one microphone input.
In the sound applet I can choose between the 7.1 and the mono. The 7.1 is working fine. But the mono is not producing any sound. The microphone was working until a few days ago, but not any more.

If I select manually the mono channel in Discord, the mono and the microphone input start working but the 7.1 stops working.

I have the following relevant package installed:

extra/alsa-card-profiles 1:0.3.85-1
extra/alsa-lib 1.2.10-2
extra/alsa-oss 1.1.8-5
extra/alsa-utils 1.2.10-1
extra/pipewire-alsa 1:0.3.85-1
extra/pipewire 1:0.3.85-1
extra/kpipewire 5.27.9-1
extra/wireplumber 0.4.15-1
extra/pipewire-audio 1:0.3.85-1
extra/libwireplumber 0.4.15-1
extra/libpipewire 1:0.3.85-1

This is the output of

cat /proc/asound/cards
 2 [Speaker ]: USB-Audio - EPOS GSX 1000 Speaker
EPOS EPOS GSX 1000 Speaker at usb-0000:6d:00.0-1.2, full speed

Does someone know about this issue?

Re: [SOLVED] Issue Sennheiser EPOS GSX 1000 2nd Edition

Plugging a second USB sound card seems to bring me back to the state I had a few days back where the 7.1 and microphone are working but not the mono output.

Does someone has an idea if this is a Pipewire issue, an Alsa issue or a bad setup on my side?

Re: [SOLVED] Issue Sennheiser EPOS GSX 1000 2nd Edition

Ok problem found.
I had too many USB devices. Bandwith was insufficient. In the

dmesg

I had the following message:

[ 2967.703652] usb 11-1.2: 2:1: usb_set_interface failed (-28)
[ 2972.707147] usb 11-1.2: Not enough bandwidth for new device state.
[ 2972.707151] usb 11-1.2: Not enough bandwidth for altsetting 1

Now everything is working fine.
