How can I do Pacman integration without PackageKit in Gnome Software

So I have "Gnome Software" on my desktop Linux system. Currently it only installs flatpaks. I wanted to make it possible to look for and install regular packages as well, just like how one can do that on fedora. So I looked up on how could I do that and I came across multiple posts talking about PackageKit and that it's really junky. So my question is, can I integrate Arch repos into Gnome Software without using PackageKit?

You don't.

Seriously, you need to read everything pacman tells you anyway. Just use it.

I agree with Scimmia, you don't want to use PackageKit with pacman. I use Gnome Software for Flatpak and Firmware updates, and have my script for other stuff, including pacman.

Yeah, i know, that using PackageKit is a bad idea, that's why i'm asking if i can use something else to integrate arch repos into "gnome software" app

You know that "using PackageKit is a bad idea" which has twice been acknowledged here already, yet you wish to make others culpable in your folly? I just don't see that flying very well here. sad

My God, man, if you want it so badly, I'm sure the Archwiiki will show you how. I don't know that for a fact but I would not bet against it. smile

But I don't want to discourage you an opportunity. *sigh*

wiki-quo is that gnome-software integration of pacman only works through a packageshit plugin that has been disabled because packageshit is a horrible idea to begin with

I'm just asking if there are alternatives to PackageKit

If i remember correctly, Arch Wiki doesn't have too much information about it, but i'll check again.

Anyways, if there isn't any alternative that can be used with Gnome Software, I'll be be fine using good old pacman anyway. I'm simply curious if there is one.
