I have enabled kdewallet but it asks me for password to open wallet. i never set this password. i have tried with both user and root password but it doesn't work. I cannot find where to change or reset such password. How do I solve it ? Thank you

I solved it by renaming the folder "~/.local/share/kwalletd" to "~/.local/share/kwallet-old" . then in System Settings > KDE wallets I created a new wallet by correctly giving it the desired password. This operation recreated the directory "~/.local/share/kwalletd". It now works.

I faced the same issue and copied the current wallet to old but lost my passwords. I create new wallet and login with it. I then logout and switch to a tty session to copy back my old working wallet and everything returned. Copying it back caused a new one to be recreated. This is on Plasma 6.4.3. Also the wallet did not have a password
