SOLVED - Issue when trying to mount hdd

i have two 500gb hard drives on my laptop, one with arch and the other with windows. when i just installed arch a few days ago i was able to mount the windows disk with no problems, but now i get this error on dolphin:

An error occurred while accessing 'Windows', the system responded: The requested operation has failed: Error mounting /dev/sdb4 at /run/media/matias/Windows: wrong fs type, bad option, bad superblock on /dev/sdb4, missing codepage or helper program, or other error

it also showed up when i tried mounting a different hdd that was connected using a sata to usb adapter.

any help is appreciated.
