Hi Community,
Seeking for help. I've been using arch and arch-based for years. Recently got an endeavourOS running on my out-dated XiaoMi TM1607(4G RAM and Intel m3-7Y30) and I'm pretty happy with it.
One big problem is that I got a system freeze/Black screen wherever I resume from a suspend to Ram, there's no response hitting any key including Cap Lock and switching to TTY does not work either. The only thing I can do is hard shutdown by pressing power button for seconds. This is NOT happen every time but like 1 out of 10, especially after a long time suspend. It's notable that after a reboot, the system always fail to start, I dont see the Grub Welcome Message appear so I suspect it's not even touch the grub stage, only leave me a pure black screen so I have to try boot system several times.
I also manually tested by
systemctl suspendbut unable to trigger the failure.
I've been search in forum and wiki for longtime and I understand the suspend issue is quite normal and they are usually caused by various reasons, I feel for me it's hard to fix it.
I also search in logs but not find any error. Check below:
