I am not able to start LibreOffice other than in safe mode. When I try to start it, the splash screen shows, then I get a window opening, but nothing is actually drawn in it. When I launch with --safe-mode, it works as expected.
I have tried removing my profile, ~/.config/libreoffice - no luck there.
I have tried setting each theme from /etc/profile.d/libreoffice-still.sh - no luck with any of those either.
I have also tried the option to disable hardware acceleration from the safe-mode window - no luck with this either.
I don't get any console output running soffice from the console - the only clue I can find is a log like this in journalctl:
Nov 19 14:44:41 laptop kwin_x11[789]: kwin_core: XCB error: 152 (BadDamage), sequence: 39847, resource id: 16786918, major code: 143 (DAMAGE), minor code: 3 (Subtract)
I am using KDE, and seeing the same issue with both libreoffice-still and libreoffice-fresh.
Any ideas?

Same problem here. I also use KDE Plasma.

try to uninstall rocm-opencl-runtime, helped for me. If you need rocm, use SAL_DISABLE_OPENCL=1

Did not have rocm-opencl-runtime installed (NVIDIA GPU, not AMD). However, removing the following seems to have done the trick:
intel-oneapi-compiler-shared-opencl-cpu lib32-opencl-nvidia-470xx opencl-headers opencl-nvidia-470xx
Thank you!
