I have Installed version 120, since version 118 Firefox has the possibility to translate a web page but my Firefox that not show this possibility.
I tried to activate in configuration
About:config -> browser.translations.enable
But the value was correct if was configured with true.

is browser.translations.automaticallyPopup set to true ?
If yes, visit a site in a language you haven't setup for display in Edit > Settings > General Languages and verify if you get the translation popup.
example : if your language is set to english, visit a dutch/french/german/spanish/italian/polish/ukrainian etc site.
(pick one , there are much more then those without leaving europe ).
Welcome to archlinux forums.

Disliking systemd intensely, but not satisfied with alternatives so focusing on taming systemd.
(A works at time B) && (time C > time B ) ≠ (A works at time C)

Restart firefox to troubleshooting mode, do translations work then ?
Create a new fresh user profile for firefox, does translation work in the new profile ?

next check :
create a (temporary) new archlinux user , login & configure as little as possible. start firefox and verify if translation works then.

You could try this official addon: https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firefo … nslations/
But as a note, it says:
> "A CPU that supports SSE4.1 extensions is required for this addon to function properly. If it doesn't, an error will be displayed when the translation is being started."
Maybe that's your issue?

I have another arch user and the same problem. But I have seen one thing.
When I start Firefox while the browser is starting and opening the old windows if I go the menu burger I can see the option Translate ...., but when finally the web is charged this option disappear, is very strange.

That's impossible if you tested this on a fresh profile. Be careful to only change one thing at a time when troubleshooting: create a new profile, then close all FF instances. Then when launching force FF to go directly to the Arch BBS by launching it from a terminal:
firefox -P <profileName> --safe-mode https://bbs.archlinux.org/
(it could be that you have to add the --browser option as well, I forget, but try it without first).
Hopefully this skips the standard "welcome to Firefox" tab and goes directly to the page.
Also check what is echoed back in the terminal. Do you have the "Translate" option?
