Hello everybody,
I am using archlinux with kde gui and I am a newbie
I configured it to start knotes, bash (just one) and thunderbird via autostart - system settings
When I login, they are loaded correctly but in addition system automatically opens unwanted program, nothing to be worried, simply 3 terminals, a pdf opened probabily once many months ago and some Dolphin windows.
I have checked
- ~/.bashrc
-~/.config/autostart
and i didn't find anything could explain why these programs are loaded.
Could anyone help me?
many thanks
cheers
Eugenio

Is session restore enabled in system settings?

on Desktop Session - system settings "on login, launch apps that were open" is set on "on last logout", but i use to close once I login and they appear in the next session

That mechanism is buggy sometimes, just disable it entirely if it's not what you want.

Many thanks!

Please always remember to mark resolved threads by editing your initial posts subject - so others will know that there's no task left, but maybe a solution to find.
Thanks.
