Hi there, I've spent the last hour looking through the docs and also on the forums and I can't seem to find anyone who's had the same problems as me with the steam overlay. I'm using KDE as my desktop and I think at one point I was getting steam notifications, but now I no longer get any notifications from steam. On top of this pressing shift+tab in any game doesn't bring up the overlay. Opening links in game only opens the steam client. I'm not quite sure what I need to provide here to help solve this issue so help would be more than appreciated

I'm using a NVIDIA GTX 1650 mobile GPU, and I believe I'm using the proprietary drivers? although I'm not entirely sure on that one

I checked again today, and I am recieving steam notifications both in game and on my desktop, so only the steam overlay is missing.

A quick search suggests some problems between the Vulkan drivers used by Steam and NVIDIA's drivers. Does the overlay work if you run steam from the iGPU (just for testing purposes)?
I have zero motivation for fixing NVIDIA's problems though, sorry. You probably shouldn't have given money to a company that hates the open source community.
