Base install packages

What are the default packages installed in a base install?
I'm sure there's a list of these somewhere, I just can't find them.

Re: Base install packages

According to the install documentation then base is everything with the 'base' and 'kernel' category assigned to it:

http://www.archlinux.org/packages/searc … ll&limit=0
http://www.archlinux.org/packages/searc … ll&limit=0

Although it's not mentioned, I assume it's also restricted to the 'current' repository and so the experimental kernels in Extra aren't included.

There shouldn't be any reason to learn more editor types than emacs or vi -- mg (1)
