Emojis not showing in GTK+ apps.

They were working fine couple of days ago, but now they aren't. This is a screenshot of emoji window from gajim:

It's only showing headings without any emoji. Dino is the same. And emojis aren't rendering in chat either. They were working fine till couple of days ago.

Only thing I can think of is that I installed https://aur.archlinux.org/packages/noto … no-binding, because NeoChat was only showing half the emojis (rest were empty rectangle). Installing this package fixed that and NeoChat started showing all emojis. But then today I noticed that gajim and dino aren't showing any emojis. I have since removed that aur package and manually removed the file from cache too. NeoChat has gone back to showing only half emojis but Gajim and Dino haven't fixed themselves.

Any idea where to look or what to do? I don't recall changing anything else related to font rendering, but I can't be completely sure.

P.S: noto-fonts-emoji is already installed, I have re-installed it and fontconfig a couple of times, and tried rebooting too in case there is any cached / in-memory file that's causing the issue.
