Icons on dock/taskbar ugly (Wine)

When running a program through wine there is an ugly box icon that shows up in my latte-dock and i am unsure of how to change it. The root cause is explorer.exe, some wine version display different icons.
Could anyone guide me the right direction to getting these icons the way I want them? (Custom icon/none at all)?
I searched google quite a bit for hours since 3am this morning.... can't find anything.. lol.. thanks ahead of time..

Switched  from wine-{stable,staging} -> wine-ge-custom
