Firefox not using font properly

I'm trying to use the Calibri font but it doesn't render in Firefox for some reason.

Webfont issue?

fc-match Calibri

There're a couple of MS font packages in the AUR.

calibri.ttf: "Calibri" "Regular"

I'm using ttf-ms-win11-auto.

If you check the webinspector in FF, what font(s) does the CSS actually resolve there (where it's supposed to be calibri)?

Assuming that's actually calibri in the shot and assuming you're running a wayland session, https://wiki.archlinux.org/title/Firefox#Wayland

Firefox is running under Wayland and I have ttf-liberation installed.

You mean as native wayland client? Do you get the same render issues on xwayland?
Calibri is one of few fonts w/ a straight long bar on the "y", so it's rather likely that this actually is calibri, but the hinting/antialiasing behavior is broken.
Do (all) other fonts render fine in FF/GG docs?

Yeah I meant as a native wayland client and the same issue is present on xwayland. As far as I've seen it's only Microsoft fonts that pose an issue, Calibri and Cambria.

That somehow seems to work, now Calibri matches Noto Sans, I guess Microsoft fonts are somehow broken on my system.

Noto Sans looks different from Calibri - do you have an udpated screenshot?
If you re-install the MS fonts, what does this file look like in FF and Chromium?
