Hi
i've just done the update of amarok-base instead of amarok-base-mysqlfree.
The upgrade itself got well (amarok is working find), but, I've got a "problem" durgin the install:
installing amarok-base... done.
/var/lib/pacman/local/amarok-base-1.4.4-2/install: line 3: post_update: command not found
I think something is missing in the package, no :?:

yeah, same message appeared to me too; no problem in using amarok as now tough
To get something done, a committee should consist of no more than three persons, two of them absent.

Yeah, that bug sure helps a lot. Amarok is still broken and won't run.
Firstly, the fucking executable doesn't get added to $PATH (I have that problem with firefox, too, why the hell are all these executables down in the bowels of /opt?) and when I run /opt/kde/bin/amarokapp I get
/opt/kde/bin/amarokapp: error while loading shared libraries: libpq.so.4: cannot open shared object file: No such file or directory
I always roll 20s on my disbelieve checks.
You better believe it.

Do you have /opt/kde/bin on /etc/profile ?
If not try to add it and do source /etc/profile after.
Hope it helps.
See if you have postgresql-libs installed..libpq.so.4 is from that package.

You don't need to add /opt/kde/bin in /etc/profile. Just sourcing /etc/profile will update the paths.
If you already have postgresql-libs installed, make sure your system is up-to-date.
