Hello,
I get this message in the log
Current desktop (XDG_CURRENT_DESKTOP) is unsupported: Xfcemy /etc/environment looks like this
XDG_CURRENT_DESKTOP="Xfce"Why am I getting this message? What have I forgotten?

Which log, which tool? That said, this is normally an uppercase value, so you probably want XFCE. https://bugzilla.xfce.org/show_bug.cgi?id=11239

I use the "gnome-logs" tool.
Writing in capital letters seems to have done the trick.
