Mounting Error at the start of install.

First time venturing into arch here, trying to install it on my old laptop (toshiba dynabook R732/H).

after displaying :
Mounting 'UUID=2023-12-01-15-40-55-00'  to  '/run/archiso/bootmnt'
Waiting 30 secs for device /dev/disk/by-uuid/2023-12-01-15-40-55-00 ...

Error message pops up:
'UUID=2023-12-01-15-40-55-00' device did not show up after 30 secs....
Falling back to interactive prompt
You can try to fix the problem manually, log out when you are finished
sh: cant access tty; job control turned off

after a long, fruitless search on the wiki, i've registered for the forum and is posting this as a first time.
Please point me to the correct sources on the root of this error

Re: Mounting Error at the start of install.

1. https://bbs.archlinux.org/viewforum.php?id=17 - please report your thread to be moved there.
2. The archinstall usb key does not show up (resp. the expected UUID)
3. How did you create that key? (eg. using dd?)
4. "lsblk -f" while the key is mounted somewhere (different linux system, the main question is what is actual UUID is)
5. hack on fragile-ish USB hubs: after it says "waiting 30 secs…", try to simply re-plug the USB key.
