Removed SOLVED as now nvidia-smi reports:

NVIDIA-SMI has failed because it couldn't communicate with the NVIDIA driver. Make sure that the latest NVIDIA driver is installed and running.

modinfo nvidia:

filename:       /lib/modules/6.1.69-1-lts/updates/dkms/nvidia.ko.zst
modinfo: ERROR: could not get modinfo from 'nvidia': No such file or directory

modinfo nvidia-lts

modinfo: ERROR: Module nvidia-lts not found.

pacman -Q nvidia-lts nvidia nvidia-utils

nvidia-lts 1:545.29.06-7
nvidia 545.29.06-7
nvidia-utils 545.29.06-1

Ahh, will i need to do this in the future or is it a one time thing due to me having to delete the dkms files manually?

No, this is only because the module was previously resolved to the dkms file.
Also kernel updates will run depmod anyway to update the modprobe database.

Just to be sure: all problems were solved by this?

Yes, that seems to have fixed it, do i need to worry about that boot partition thing that was mentioned earlier?

You're not booting from a boot partition

So "no" - it's just the most common way to get to the symptoms you experienced, so the first thing to check.
