Fresh install panics on boot SOLVED

When I boot up my shiny fresh new Arch install, the kernel panics with a lot of alphanumerical output filling up the screen. This is the last line:

<0>Kernel panic - not syncing: Attempted to kill init!

Can anyone make something of that, maybe point me in the direction of the problem?
EDIT: Nevermind, I'm an idiot and I still had a "noinitrd" in my grub.conf. It boots fine now.

I always roll 20s on my disbelieve checks.
You better believe it.

Change your /boot/grub/menu.lst lines containing "initrd (/boot)/initrd26.img" to "...kernel26.img"

Re: Fresh install panics on boot SOLVED

To be quite honest, the install doc needs to be updated. I imagine a lot of people trip over this.
