I didn't get this (If you only installed the nvidia packages, the current modules won't match that kernel and you'll end up w/o any kernel module (as nouveau gets blacklisted))
I followed this https://wiki.archlinux.org/title/NVIDIA#Installation to the last step. Do I need to do anything else??

I removed the duds.
The answer to that is ...maybe. What's your current
sudo journalctl -band/or nvidia-smi https://wiki.archlinux.org/title/List_o … n_services

*You* didn't make me angry, ChatGPT does.
You understand that that thing is not really intelligent?
It calculates the proximity of the tokens in your question to some reddit posts, figures that you're probably asking about what those reddit posts were talking and then parrots frequent/popular answers.
It's good at writing coherent english, but it generally has no fucking idea what it's talking about.
An intelligent system would spot ambiguities or wrong problem-levels (xy-questions) in your question and ask back.
ChatGPT just babbles some likely reelvant information.
The advice you've been given is *insane* and everyone who actually understands how bash operates understands that and would *never* give that advice.
Edit:
Please always remember to mark resolved threads by editing your initial posts subject - so others will know that there's no task left, but maybe a solution to find.
Thanks.

There's a general one-topic-per-thread rule, so start a new thread.

Btw where is the option to mark resolved threads by editing my initial posts subject.

There's an edit link in the lower right corner of each of your posts. The one in the first post allows you to alter the subject of the thread.

One day i hope i can become as good as you are at linux and help people.
