setting up a custom lockscreen in mate?

hi everyone! i'm currently using mate and I don't like its default lockscreen (this one, I mean https://linuxhint.com/wp-content/upload … 15-13.png)

I've found betterlockscreen in the AUR and it seems so beautiful! but I haven't found a way to integrate it with MATE, so when my machine locks its screen after showing screensavers, it would show betterlockscreen, not the ugly MATE lock screen

I have looked for customizing MATE, nothing about it
does anyone know the way? thnx

Step 1. Remove https://archlinux.org/packages/extra/x8 … reensaver/
Step 2. Install and enable betterlockscreen
Step 3.  + 4 ?
Step 5. Profit. (?)
