[SOLVED] KDE Plasma applications stuttering after running pacman

Occasionally when I run `sudo pacman -S/-Rns` commands, I'll get some stuttering/freezing with KDE applications like Konsole or even the System Monitor, though other than Konsole it's inconsistent on what will freeze. So far I've had other Konsole windows freeze, System Monitor, to even the entire DE which wouldn't resolve itself without a restart.

I started noticing this issue after turning compression on, on my btrfs partitions (/, and /home). Assuming it was something with the compression I turned the compression back off but the issue persists. I've even gone to the lengths of copying my home folder to another drive, wiping the original partition, and copying my files back.

At this point, I'm unsure where else to look for a potential fix for this issue. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks
